Joy is..

To sit in His presence, to bow at His feet, being about the Father’s business, or teaaching His word, what is the best part of ur life in Christ? The best part is Him! He is our jour and our reward. Someone ask me, “What was the best part of your trip to England and Ireland?’ It was getting lost while Sam was driving down the “wrong side” of the street in a foreign city, holding my four year old granddaughter while she was making friends with someone else’s grandma, and grabbing the hand of my three year old grandson just before he hit the stop button on a London city bus. Joy is much more who we are with than where we are or what we are doing. I find my relationship with Jesus is much the same. It is not my circumstances that bring joy, it is sharing them with my Lord. In John chapter 15, Jesus said “9 As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in my love. 10 If you keep my commandments, you witll abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. 11 These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you and that your joy may be full. As we stay in Christ, we remain in His joy.
